Freddie Freeman Added To NL All-Star Roster
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman has been added to the 2022 National League All-Star roster as a replacement for New York Mets outfielder Starling Marte, who will be inactive for Tuesday's game in Los Angeles. Freeman is well-deserving of the nod, as he hit a strong .321/.397/.530 with a .926 OPS, 13 home runs, 59 RBI, 60 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 355 at-bats in the first half of the season in his first year in LA. The former Atlanta Brave has been even better in the month of July, going 24-for-59 (.407) with four home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs scored in 15 games.
