Clayton Kershaw The Favorite To Start In All-Star Game
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw looks to be the favorite to start for the National League in Tuesday's All-Star game at Dodger Stadium. On the flip side, Los Angeles Angels right-hander Shohei Ohtani could get the start again for the American League, if he's willing. If not, the Tampa Bay Rays' Shane McClanahan would most likely start for the AL. While Miami Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara and Dodgers righty Tony Gonsolin have been the best in the first half, it would be cool to see Dodgers great Kershaw start in the Midsummer Classic. He's made just 12 starts because of injury in the first half, but he's also gone 7-2 with a 2.13 ERA and 0.91 WHIP while striking out 75 in 71 2/3 innings of work.
