J.K. Dobbins Not A Lock To Be Ready For Week 1
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins (knee) hasn't had any setbacks, but his injury is a serious one, and he's not a lock to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season. The Ravens also have no incentive to rush him back after they protected themselves with veteran Mike Davis in free agency. Dobbins suffered a torn ACL and damage to his meniscus and LCL in late August of last year and missed all of the 2021 season. Baltimore also drafted rookies Tyler Badie and Ricky Person and have Gus Edwards (knee), although he's also coming off a lost season due to a torn ACL. Dobbins should be heavily involved in the Ravens backfield once he does return, but he's shaping up as a risky low-end RB2 in fantasy drafts this fall.
