Angels Put Mike Trout On Injured List
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels placed outfielder Mike Trout (rib cage) on the 10-day injured list with rib-cage inflammation on Monday. Trout will be eligible to return to action for the second game after the All-Star break, so he may not wind up missing all that much time. The 30-year-old superstar missed the final four games of the first half of the season with what the team was calling back spasms, and he'll also miss the All-Star game in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Hopefully, he's back to full health when the second half resumes. Trout remains a must-start fantasy player and finished the first half of 2022 with a .270/.368/.599 slash line with a .967 OPS, 24 home runs, 51 RBI, 55 runs scored and one stolen base in 282 at-bats.
