Packers Work Out John Brown
2 years agoThe Green Bay Packers tried out veteran free-agent wide receiver John Brown on Wednesday. Brown spent time with four teams last year and finished with no catches on three targets in four games with the Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 32-year-old would be a long shot to make Green Bay's final 53-man roster if he were to sign with the team, even though the Packers' receiver depth isn't great after Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown all left in free agency. Brown would be competing with the likes of Amari Rodgers, Juwann Winfree, Malik Taylor and rookie Romeo Doubs if he signs with Green Bay.
