2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez will make the start during Thursday's second-half opener versus the Texas Rangers. The 26-year-old has been fantastic through the first half of the season. He's posting a 2.86 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 101:32 K:BB ratio across 18 starts. Manager Don Mattingly hasn't announced the rest of the starting rotation for the second half yet. As of right now, the Marlins sit 5 1/2 games out of the final wild-card spot. These next few weeks are going to be important for this organization.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
