Kyle Rudolph Signs One-Year Deal With Buccaneers
2 years agoFormer Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants veteran free-agent tight end Kyle Rudolph signed an undisclosed one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday, according to a source. Quarterback Tom Brady gets a new toy just before training camp, while Cameron Brate's fantasy value takes a hit. Rudolph will help make up for the losses of O.J. Howard and Rob Gronkowski (retired for now). The 32-year-old has made the Pro Bowl twice, but he's likely past his prime and will most likely be an inconsistent touchdown-dependent TE2 while sharing snaps with Brate. In his lone season with New York in 2021, Rudolph had just 26 receptions for 257 yards and one touchdown in 16 games in a bad Giants offense.
