2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks left-hander Dallas Keuchel was designated for assignment on Wednesday, according to sources. It's the second time Keuchel has been DFA'd this year, with the first coming by the Chicago White Sox before the D-backs scooped him up. In four starts with the Snakes, the 34-year-old southpaw allowed 20 earned runs on 27 hits (four home runs) while walking seven and striking out 18 in 18 2/3 innings. In total, Keuchel has a ugly 8.53 ERA and 2.03 WHIP with only 38 K's and 27 walks in 50 2/3 innings over 12 starts for Chicago and Arizona in 2022. The two-time All-Star and Cy Young winner in 2015 with the Astros has fallen off a cliff. He will clear waivers and become a free agent yet again.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
