Cardinals, Kyler Murray Working On Monster Extension
2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals and two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray are working to close a monster contract extension that will make Murray one of the league's highest-paid players, according to sources. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is also reporting that the deal is slated to lock Murray up through the 2028 season. The 24-year-old and the Cardinals were at odds when the offseason started after a tough exit in the postseason, but things have been going smoothly lately, and it looks like everything could be patched up before Murray even reports to training camp. Murray missed three games due to an ankle injury in 2021 and finished as the QB11 in fantasy. Fantasy managers might be down on him as a QB1 this year, especially with top receiver DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games.
