2 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is optimistic that he can have a big season in 2022. Edwards-Helaire began learning the team's offense through virtual meetings during the coronavirus pandemic and admitted that he returned to early late in the year from hip and ankle injuries. He had gallbladder surgery the following offseason and was slowed in 2021 by an MCL sprain in his left knee and a left collarbone injury. "This offseason, it was pretty much getting back to the basics, being able to have a full offseason," Edwards-Helaire said. The 23-year-old is feeling great, but he'll still have his work cut out for him to hold off returning back Jerick McKinnon and newcomer Ronald Jones. Until he shows he can remain healthy and exhibit the skills that made him a first-rounder, fantasy managers are better off taking him as a high-end RB3 in fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
