2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts said that left-hander Andrew Heaney (shoulder) will throw four innings in the Arizona Complex League on Friday, and he could be back in the team's starting rotation in the next turn if all goes well. Heaney gave up four runs in just 2 2/3 innings in his first minor league rehab start last Saturday with Low-A Rancho Cucamonga, so the Dodgers want to see better results before activating him from the injured list. The 31-year-old southpaw also hasn't pitched in the majors since June 19, so he needs some innings to build up his stamina. Heaney will be a bit risky when he returns to LA's rotation, but he's been great in his three starts, allowing just one earned run while walking four and striking out 23.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
