Dustin May To Throw Three Innings Friday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Dustin May (elbow) will throw three innings in a minor league rehab outing for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, which is a notable development in his rehab. If all goes well, May will go four innings again his next time out, followed by a five-inning outing. At that point, he could be ready to return to the Dodgers, according to manager Dave Roberts. The 24-year-old they call Gingergaard tossed two innings in the Arizona Complex League last Saturday and is slowly building up his arm strength. Barring any setbacks, he should be an option for the Dodgers rotation and fantasy managers in early August, and his high-strikeout upside makes him a player to pick up if he's available in your league.
