2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler (elbow) is progressing in his recovery, and skipper Dave Roberts is "cautiously optimistic" that the right-hander will be making starts for the Dodgers in September. "Everything I hear from the staff, training staff, and Walker specifically, everything's trending in the right direction," said Roberts. While Buehler could still return for some regular season action, there won't be a whole lot of games left for him to make a big impact for his fantasy managers. The 27-year-old right-hander had a bone spur removed and also was diagnosed with a flexor strain in his right arm. Before the injury, he had gone 6-3 with a 4.02 ERA and 1.29 WHIP while striking out 58 and walking 17 in 65 innings over 12 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
