2 years agoThe New Orleans Saints placed wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) and defensive end Marcus Davenport (finger) on the Physically Unable to Perform list to begin training camp. Both players can be activated at any time, but they won't be able to practice until they are activated. If either player stays on the PUP list for the start of the regular season, they'd be forced to miss at least the first four games. Thomas missed all of 2021 and most of the 2020 campaign due to ankle issues. The 29-year-old was one of the best wideouts in the game before his injury and he should be the team's No. 1 target once he returns, but the long layoff and the additions of rookie Chris Olave and veteran slot man Jarvis Landry will take away valuable targets. Consider Thomas a risk/reward WR3 in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
