2 years agoNew York Mets ace Jacob deGrom (shoulder) threw 60 pitches across four innings during a simulated game on Thursday. The right-hander looked incredible on Thursday and struck out 10 of the 13 batters he faced. According to one Mets source, "he looks like Jake." The 34-year-old reportedly is "feeling good after the outing." As for a return date, it is to be determined. However, this is a good sign for fantasy managers who have been stashing deGrom all season. A decision is expected to be made on his next appearance based on how he feels within the next few days.
