Cedrick Wilson Jr. Thinks He's Versatile
2 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr.'s deal with the team was quickly forgotten when Miami made the blockbuster trade to acquire Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason. Wilson caught 45 passes for 602 yards last year in Dallas and lined up in the slot 90.5 percent of the time, according to Pro Football Focus. However, Hill was there 53 percent of the time, and former first-rounder Jaylen Waddle was in the slot 60 percent of the time in 2021. Wilson likes playing in the slot, but he thinks he's versatile enough to play on the outside and be successful as well, and he'll probably have to in Miami as the bigger receiver compared to Hill and Waddle. With an unproven quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa and with Hill and Waddle soaking up most of the targets, Wilson should go undrafted in most standard 12-team fantasy leagues.
