2 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Darin Ruf came up with a huge hit during Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 35-year-old slugger crushed a grand slam off Alex Vesia in the fifth inning. He turned what was a 5-1 contest into a tie game, but sadly it didn't last. The Giants would eventually drop this contest 9-6, but that shouldn't take away from Ruf's monster homer. The right-handed slugger now has 10 home runs and 36 RBI through 81 games this season. He could be worth an add in deep leagues for fantasy managers looking for a power bat.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
