Harrison Bader Begins Rehab Assignment Friday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Harrison Bader (foot) is optimistic that he'll return shortly after the All-Star break, and he'll be starting a minor league rehab assignment on Friday with Triple-A Memphis. Bader is recovering from plantar fasciitis in his right foot that landed him on the injured list in late June, but barring a setback on his rehab assignment, he could return to St. Louis at some point next week. Speed is the 28-year-old biggest fantasy asset, so hopefully his foot injury doesn't prevent him from swiping bags upon his return. In 246 at-bats in 2022, Bader is slashing .256/.303/.370 with five home runs, 21 RBI, 35 runs scored and 15 stolen bases.
