Justin Turner Dealing With Abdominal Tightness
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (abdomen) left the game early on Thursday against the San Francisco Giants with abdominal tightness, but he thinks the injury is minor. However, skipper Dave Roberts is unsure if Turner will be ready to go on Friday or if he'll need a day or two to reset. The 37-year-old veteran went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI on Thursday before leaving in the eighth inning. The good news is doesn't appear to be a serious injury, but fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if Turner sits out a couple games this weekend. On the season, he's hitting .253/.328/.403 with eight home runs, 53 RBI, 41 runs scored and one stolen base in 351 plate appearances over 85 games.
