Luis Robert Still Out, Eloy Jimenez Returns
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (illness) remains out of the starting lineup on Friday against the Cleveland Guardians, but outfielder Eloy Jimenez (leg) is back as the designated hitter while batting sixth against Guardians right-hander Cal Quantrill. Robert was removed from the game early last Friday with light-headedness and hasn't played since, even though he had the All-Star break this week to rest up. If he misses any more time, he could be a candidate to go on the injured list. Adam Engel is starting in center field again and is hitting ninth in the lineup. Engel went 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and two runs scored to close out the first half on Sunday, and although he has swiped nine bases, he has just two home runs and 14 RBI in 168 at-bats as a low-upside DFS play.
