Tim Anderson Sitting In Game 1 Against Cleveland
2 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson will start on the bench for Game 1 of a doubleheader on Saturday against the Cleveland Guardians. Anderson is getting a normal day of rest, and fantasy managers should get him back for Game 2 of the double dip later in the day. He went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a strikeout to kick off the second half of the season on Friday, and Anderson is now hitting a cool .313/.353/.417 with six home runs, 24 RBI, 45 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 278 at-bats this year as one of the better fantasy shortstops out there. Leury Garcia is starting at the 6 and hitting eighth against Guardians right-hander Triston McKenzie. Garcia, who is hitting just .205 with two home runs on the year in 229 at-bats, is a low-upside DFS target.
