No Timeline On Decision For Alvin Kamara
2 years agoThe NFL continues to review New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara's offseason arrest, according to a source, and there's no firm timeline on a decision on discipline for Kamara under the personal-conduct policy. It opens the door for Kamara to be available in Week 1, unless he's placed on paid leave via the commissioner's exempt list. League sources said the feeling is that Kamara could be suspended, but nothing is firm and much could depend on the findings of the case. The 26-year-old was arrested in February on felony battery charges stemming from an incident in Las Vegas during Pro Bowl weekend. With all the uncertainty, it's made Kamara a risky high-end RB2 in fantasy for those that are drafting in the near future. If he's suspended to begin the season, veteran Mark Ingram II would likely lead the backfield, with Tony Jones, Dwayne Washington and Devine Ozigbo also in line for increased roles.
