2 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Austin Meadows (Achilles) has yet to resume running since being pulled from his rehab assignment on July 11. Meadows was put on the IL on June 17 with an Achilles injury, and after aggravating the injury he is likely to be out a while longer. Manager AJ Hinch said he will have a better idea of a timetable for Meadows once he begins running, but he won't return in July. It's another tough break for the 27-year-old, who has dealt with various injuries and illnesses this season. His inability to stay on the field may also explain his struggles on the field, as he's gone homerless with a .250 average over 128 at-bats. At this point, he is droppable in any league without IL spots or where they are limited.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
