2 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Javier Baez (arm) was lifted for a pinch hitter during the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. It has been revealed the Baez is dealing with a left upper arm contusion. That makes sense considering Baez was hit on the arm by a pitch in the fourth inning of Sunday's contest. This doesn't sound like that type of injury that is going to require a stint on the injured list.
