2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo went 2-for-4 in the 4-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday. The outfielder  had a poor first half of the season. He went into the All-Star break with a .262/.306/.372 slash line with six homers, 48 RBI, 22 walks and 38 strikeouts. These aren't terrible numbers, but Boston needs way more out of him. He's not known for his power, so if he can't get his average up, standard fantasy league managers might want to consider a replacement.--Harry Stiel - RotoBaller
