2 years agoSan Diego Padres left-hander MacKenzie Gore left Monday's game early with an undisclosed injury, according to reports. Gore worked 1 1/3 innings in relief of Sean Manaea in the contest, allowing two runs on one hit while striking out one and walking two. He was visited by trainers and appeared to be in discomfort while walking off of the field, although the team has yet to specify the nature of Gore's injury. Gore has posted a 4-4 record, 4.50 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, and 72 strikeouts over 70 innings of work in 2022. Look for the Padres to update his status after Monday's game ends.--Matt T - RotoBaller
