2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Aaron Ashby was sharp Monday night, throwing seven innings and allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out nine batters against the Colorado Rockies. He was left with the tough-luck loss when the Brewers offense couldn't muster a single run. Ashby's record for the season drops to an unsightly 2-8 with this decision, though he has deserved better with a 4.38 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 92 strikeouts in 76 innings. Even those rate statistics are worse than Ashby could expect, and fantasy managers should feel confident going forward.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
