Jamison Crowder Dealing With Soreness
2 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receivers Jamison Crowder and Jake Kumerow will miss practice on Tuesday with "soreness" and "tightness" and will be listed as day-to-day at training camp. It's not what you want to see from a veteran wideout early in training camp, but it's also probably nothing to worry about yet. The veteran slot man is coming off an underwhelming season in 2021 with the New York Jets, catching 51 passes for 447 yards and only two touchdowns in 12 games. However, if healthy, Crowder is the favorite to win slot duties in Buffalo over Isaiah McKenzie. The 29-year-old might not have as much after-the-catch ability as McKenzie, but he could be a reliable third-down weapon for quarterback Josh Allen, much like Cole Beasley was.
