2 years agoMiami Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera (elbow) is scheduled to pitch for Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday in his third minor league rehab start. Cabrera got up to 52 pitches in his last outing and has been sidelined since June 13 with right elbow tendinitis. The 24-year-old tossed three scoreless frames and struck out seven while walking just one for Double-A Pensacola last Friday. If everything goes smoothly on Thursday, there's a chance that he could rejoin the Marlins rotation after that. Before his injury, Cabrera had allowed six earned runs on 10 hits while walking nine and striking out 15 in 15 2/3 innings over three starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
