Marquise Brown Not Ready To Practice At Camp
2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals placed wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) on the Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday. He'll be eligible to come off the list whenever he's ready to practice. It's bad news for a player that has yet to play with the team after being acquired in a draft-day trade with the Baltimore Ravens. The 25-year-old will be looking to cement himself as one of quarterback Kyler Murray's top targets to begin the season, with DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games. Brown should be the team's top wideout to open the year, but Arizona also has receivers A.J. Green, Rondale Moore and Antoine Wesley and tight end Zach Ertz to catch passes. Brown had his first 1,000-yard season in 2021 and has scored 21 times in his first three NFL seasons. He's in the WR2 picture but will lose fantasy value once Hopkins returns to the fold.
