Josh Jung Starting Rehab Assignment Thursday
2 years agoAccording to a tweet from The Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant, Texas Rangers third base prospect Josh Jung (shoulder) "will start DHing in Arizona Complex games on Thursday. Could start playing field in 10 days or so after a re-evaluation." Jung has yet to appear in a game at any level this season due to a shoulder injury, but he hit .326 with a .398 on-base percentage, 19 home runs and a pair of stolen bases in 342 plate appearances last season between Texas' Double-A and Triple-A affiliates. One of the sport's best position-player prospects, the 24-year-old is worth picking up now as a stash candidate if he's still available in dynasty or keeper leagues.
