Kris Bryant To Serve As DH Against White Sox
2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (foot) will serve as the designated hitter and bat third on Wednesday against Chicago White Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito. Bryant revealed on Tuesday night that he has been playing through plantar fasciitis in his left foot. It's very possible that we'll see the 30-year-old get more starts as the team's DH moving forward in order to keep him off his feet as much as possible. Bryant has only played in 37 games in his first year in Colorado, but he's hitting a strong .301/.370/.476 with an .846 OPS, five home runs, 14 RBI and 25 runs scored so far. As long as he remains in the lineup, he'll be useful to fantasy managers.
