Marquise Brown Expected Back Soon
2 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) injured his hamstring last week, but he's expected to return to practice soon. Brown was placed on the Non-Football Injury list to begin training camp on Tuesday, but he shouldn't be out for long. That's good news, as the 25-year-old needs all the repetitions he can get to gain chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray in his first year in Arizona. With DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games of the season, Brown is expected to step up as the No. 1 receiver in the passing attack. Brown's decline in the second half last year with Baltimore should have fantasy managers hesitant that he can be a true No. 1 wideout for an entire season. There's more upside in Arizona's offense, but Brown is better suited as a low-end WR2.
