Matt Ryan Nearly Flawless Wednesday
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan was nearly flawless in 11-on-11 work in training camp practice on Wednesday, and he went 7-for-8 in full-team work while completing passes to Michael Pittman Jr., Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines, Alec Pierce and Mo Alie-Cox. The timing of the Colts passing game was impressive, and Ryan will bring more decisiveness to the QB position. A lot of folks are writing the 37-year-old veteran off after a forgettable 2021 season in his final year in Atlanta. Although the Colts should remain a run-first offense, Ryan now has one of the best running backs in the game and a much better offensive line. His ceiling isn't as high as the elite names at the position because he can't run the ball, but Ryan should at least be a very serviceable fantasy backup.
