2 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine was removed from the PUP list on Wednesday. The veteran missed all of OTAs with an undisclosed issue after finishing the 2021-22 campaign with 246 yards off 55 carries while adding 27 catches for 196 yards. He also combined for two touchdowns. Nonetheless, with Chris Evans expected to have a good chance of taking over the No. 2 spot behind Joe Mixon this season, Perine's fantasy stock may continue to plummet. However, considering Mixon's injury history, Perine or Evans may gain late-round fantasy value as an insurance policy, so fantasy managers will surely want to monitor the backup battle throughout training camp.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
