Ezekiel Elliott Not Worried About Contract, Future
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott isn't worried about his contract or future with the organization. "I think it is a big season, but I think you can't look too far down the road," Elliott said, "I think if I handle my business every day, then I'll be in a pretty good situation at the end of the season." The 27-year-old is set to make 12.4 million this year, fully guaranteed. The veteran has had some disappointing seasons during his career. But the former Buckeye may be extra motivated to produce with no more guaranteed cash remaining on his deal beyond the 2022-23 campaign. However, if Elliott doesn't deliver, Tony Pollard may receive more opportunities out of the backfield. Even worse, he may get sent packing.
