Carlos Dunlap Signs One-Year Deal With Chiefs
2 years agoVeteran free-agent defensive end Carlos Dunlap signed a one-year deal worth up to $8 million on Thursday with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Dunlap was released by the Seattle Seahawks in March after he totaled 8.5 sacks, 35 tackles (24 solo), eight tackles for loss, 14 QB hits, seven passes defensed and one forced fumble in 17 games (two starts) for Seattle in 2021. The 33-year-old still has some juice left in the tank and will be a nice veteran option for Kansas City's offensive line this year behind rookie George Karlaftis.
