2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Andrew Benintendi is starting in left field and is hitting leadoff on Thursday in his debut with the team against his former team, the Kansas City Royals, and right-hander Brady Singer. The Yanks landed Benintendi from the Royals on Wednesday night in exchange for minor league pitchers T.J. Sikkema, Beck Way and Chandler Champlain. The 28-year-old has hit .320/.387/.398, but fantasy managers would like some more power (only three home runs in 347 at-bats). The power and counting stats should improve the rest of the way in 2022 in a much stronger Yankees lineup, especially in the Bronx with the short porch in right field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
