2 years agoA CT scan came back normal on Miami Marlins left-hander Daniel Castano (concussion) on Thursday after he was hit in the forehead by a 104 mph comebacker in his outing against the Cincinnati Reds. Castano got the start and allowed an earned run on two hits in just two-thirds of an inning before departing the contest. The 27-year-old southpaw was diagnosed with a mild concussion and forehead contusion, but it could have been much worse. Although he may not be out for an extended period of time, there's still a good chance he'll go on the seven-day injured list. Coming into the day, Castano was 1-3 with a 3.86 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 20 strikeouts and nine walks in 35 innings over nine outings (six starts).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
