Rhamondre Stevenson Leaner At Training Camp
2 years agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson confirmed the "eye test" that he is leaner at training camp this year, down to 225 pounds (seven pounds lighter than he was in 2021). Stevenson has also been seeing more third-down repetitions early in camp practices, a sign that he'll be a big part of the team's early down mix this year alongside Damien Harris. It's worth noting that veteran pass-catching back James White (hip) is on the Physically Unable to Perform list and rookie Pierre Strong Jr. is dealing with an undisclosed injury, but regardless, Stevenson should see more chances in the passing game in 2022 after he saw just 18 targets in 12 games in his rookie campaign. It's hard to ever get too excited against a Patriots backfield in what usually becomes a committee approach, but there's a lot to like about Stevenson as an RB3/flex in fantasy.
