George Springer "Feeling Good" After Early Exit
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (elbow) exited Thursday's game against the Detroit Tigers with elbow discomfort. According to manager John Schneider, Springer is "feeling good." He exited early after a swing in the eighth inning. The 32-year-old went 1-for-5 with a run and two strikeouts before leaving. He was replaced in the game by Raimel Tapia. Springer is considered day-to-day but appears to have avoided a significant injury. Tapia will handle center-field duties if Springer is forced to miss any games.
