Kyler Murray No Longer Has "Independent Study" Clause
2 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray recently agreed to a lucrative extension with the club. Interestingly enough, the contract also contained an "independent study" clause, requiring Murray to devote four hours each week to reviewing materials provided to him by the coaching staff in preparation for an upcoming game. However, on Thursday, the organization released a statement indicating it is eliminating the addendum after "seeing the distraction it created" while also acknowledging its "confidence" in the young signal-caller. With both sides seemingly now on good terms, Murray can turn his attention toward claiming an MVP and winning a championship. He has top-five potential in all fantasy formats, assuming he remains healthy and away from off-the-field distractions.
