2 years agoHouston Texans head coach Lovie Smith said the team is ramping up cornerback Derek Stingley (foot) in training camp, and he's expected to be ready for Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts. Stingley is trying to return from Lisfranc injury to his left foot and he'll be eased into workouts at camp. The Texans will be careful with the No. 3 overall pick in this year's draft. When fully healthy, the 21-year-old has the ability to be an elite cover corner in the NFL. Houston's secondary has been a weak spot for a while, so hopefully Stingley can help start to turn that around.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
