Romeo Doubs Looks NFL-Ready
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie fourth-round wide receiver Romeo Doubs has looked NFL-ready early in training camp. Doubs was the star of the second practice day when he caught an eight-yard touchdown pass on a fade from quarterback Aaron Rodgers over cornerback Eric Stokes. Winning jump balls is a good way to gain Rodgers' trust, and Doubs also beat veteran linebacker De'Vondre Campbell for another red-zone TD on a drag route. Meanwhile, second-round rookie Christian Watson (knee) sits on the sidelines while recovering from a knee injury. There is opportunity in Green Bay's receiver room with Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown all gone, so Doubs will be an interesting player to watch as training camp unfolds.
