2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (abdomen) is unlikely to play in his team's weekend series against the Colorado Rockies. Turner has missed seven of the past eight games while trying to get over the strained abdominal muscle that he sustained over a week ago while taking swings in the on-deck circle. Turner is "out of the woods" regarding the injury, according to manager Dave Roberts, but the team doesn't want to push him back too soon. With Turner out, Max Muncy will continue to see most of the playing time at the hot corner.--Matt T - RotoBaller
