2 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays are among the teams interested in Detroit Tigers relief pitcher Michael Fulmer, according to sources. Fulmer tossed a scoreless eighth inning against the Blue Jays on Friday night and has been very solid in a relief role for Detroit this year, posting a 2.77 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP with two saves, 38 strikeouts and 20 walks in 39 relief innings. The 29-year-old right-hander will be a free agent after this season, and he could provide the Blue Jays with an experienced bullpen arm ahead of closer Jordan Romano as they prepare for a run at a postseason spot in the second half of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
