2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Maurice Hurst (biceps) tore his biceps muscle in Friday's training camp practice, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Hurst will likely miss all of the 2022 season as a result. It hasn't been a good start to training camp for the 49ers defense, as Dre Greenlaw (hamstring) and Arik Armstead (knee) have also been sidelined with injuries. Hurst played in just two games for San Francisco last year while dealing with ankle and calf injuries, and now he'll miss all of 2022 after signing a one-year deal. The 27-year-old was expected to compete for rotational snaps on the interior of the team's defensive line this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
