Brandon Drury On The Bench Against Orioles
2 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Brandon Drury is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles. Drury will take a normal day of rest after going 8-for-36 (.222) with a homer, six RBI and five runs scored in nine games since the All-Star break. On the season, he's hitting .272/.332/.513 with an .845 OPS, 19 home runs, 58 RBI, 61 runs scored and two stolen bases in 345 at-bats. Drury is a prime trade candidate with the deadline coming on Aug. 2. Donovan Solano is starting at third base on Sunday and is hitting second against Orioles right-hander Austin Voth. Solano will be a DFS sleeper worth considering. He's gone 10-for-23 (.435) with a homer and seven RBI in seven games over the last two weeks.
