Bryan Edwards' Injury Isn't Serious
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said that the injury that wide receiver Bryan Edwards (shoulder) suffered in Saturday's training camp practice isn't serious. "It's nothing that's considered long term. We'll take it day by day," Smith said. Edwards wasn't seen with the other receivers at the start of practice on Monday and he might miss another couple of days, but he should be just fine for the start of the regular season. After a disappointing 2021 campaign with the Las Vegas Raiders, the 23-year-old has the chance to be Atlanta's No. 2 wideout behind rookie first-rounder Drake London. However, that role isn't likely to be a very fruitful one on a weekly basis in fantasy with quarterback Marcus Mariota throwing him the pigskin.
