2 years agoThe New York Mets and Chicago White Sox are among the teams looking to add a left-handed reliever at the trade deadline, and Detroit Tigers left-hander Andrew Chafin is of interest to both teams, according to sources. He's owed the rest of his $6 million salary this year and $7 million in 2023. The 32-year-old veteran southpaw has been very solid for the Tigers in relief this year, posting a 2.53 ERA and 1.06 WHIP while striking out 39 and walking just 10 hitters in 32 innings of work out of Detroit's bullpen.
